Yves Lepin, general manager of Autobus Campeau in Gatineau, says the company is planning to make their take-over of the 148 route as trouble-free as possible.

"There will be no break in service, that is our goal," Lepin told Pontiac2020 today. "At this time, it's anticipated that Thom Transport will run its last service on August 5th and we will start service the next day. It is our goal that the customers are well served."

Autobus Campeau are currently working with the MRC des Collines and MRC Pontiac to get the rights to the route transferred from Thom Transport to themselves.

"We still need to do some homework; we need to get the agreement signed," he explained. "The license and permits have to be transferred over to us."
