Egan St. bridge repairs will affect traffic

Kate Aley

On July 7th, the Ministère des Transports (MTQ) announced repair work on the Egan St. bridge over the Quyon river will begin on July 10th.

According to MTQ spokersperson, Karine Sauvé, two sets of traffic lights will control vehicles through one lane between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday until July 20th. This deadline will be affected by weather and other "operational constraints", of course.

[NB: Interestingly, this sign indicates 10 weeks of work, not 10 days. Let me check with Mme. Sauve and I'll get back to you.]
