Great gardens and gorgeous gifts on tour

Categories:

Pontiac Gardens and Gifts is a self-guided garden tour featuring nine country gardens in West Quebec’s beautiful Pontiac region. The focus is on organic techniques, wildlife-friendly designs and native plants. In addition, regional artists and artisans will sell their art, books and cards. Some gardens will be selling nursery stock and seeds, organic produce, herbal products and more.

Gardens & Gifts takes place on August 4 and 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Follow the colourful flower-and-gift-box graphic on road signs to the nine gardens, located in Breckenridge, Luskville, Quyon, Norway Bay, Bristol, Greermount, and Ladysmith. Admission is free, although the tour welcomes donations to the Nature Conservancy of Canada, which will have a booth at Domaine de Pontiac Village and information at all gardens.

Check the website for comprehensive information and directions to all nine gardens. Each garden includes a link to a Google Maps window preloaded with the garden’s location.
