Obstacle courses are always fun and they're double the fun on horseback. The Pontiac Equestrian Association (PEA) held their annual "no-fuss fun day" at the Leblanc-Bedard farm on Wilson Road in Quyon on June 11. Twenty-one riders took part in the event, guiding their trusty steeds through such challenges as the Tipping Bridge (a wide wooden ramp balanced across a log), the Swampy Pond (a blue tarp filled with foam shapes) and the terrifying and hilarious Noodle Monster (a gateway lined with flailing pool noodles).
Riders came from as far away as Kingston, ON, and Thurso, QC, to take part. The next PEA event is a Poker Run /Rally in August.
