The jolly jingle of Christmas bells mingled with the merry cling-clang on forks on plates at the annual Parents of the Municipality of Pontiac (PMP) Breakfast with Santa event on Saturday December 2nd.

The Community Centre in Luskville was filled with kids and parents enjoying a selection of seasonal crafts, a reading corner and of course a delicious spread of fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt and nice thick pancakes drenched with local maple syrup.

Mayor and head elf Joanne Labadie was hard at work, serving up healthy chunks of fresh banana, cantaloupe and honeydew melon.

Of course the star of the show was that famous old man in red who was delighted to hear the gift wishes of the young people of Pontiac.

You want a goat? No, a boat!

Kids also had their faces painted and made gift tags and ornaments for the tree and wrote letters to Santa.

The PMP have been hard at work creating new and exciting sport events and cultural activities designed for the under 5's. Support their tremendous community initiatives: they really are the sweetest people ever.
