LA PÊCHE, APRIL 4 , 2016 — This afternoon, around 13:15 hrs, two (2) 24 year old Gatineau men were caught red-handed as they were just leaving a residence they had burglered on Soulière Crescent, in the Municipality of Pontiac.

As a result of information received from the public, police were able to quickly respond and proceed to the arrests. The two (2) men arrested are known to police and actually one of them had conditions to respect since he had been arrested for the same type of offence twelve (12) days earlier.

During this intervention, our colleagues from the Gatineau Police Department were called to the scene and proceeded to the arrest of one of the individuals, since the target area is bordering their territory. Excellent team work ! The investigation is ongoing in order to determine if other residences in that area were visited by the perpetrators.
